The John Jameson Story >>

John Jameson speaks on film for the very first time in this 11-minute period drama launched in 2012. The piece, created by vStream from conception and scripting through production to post-production, forms the centre of a full re-imagination and rebuild of The Old Jameson Distillery. Set in Dublin in 1802, the story follows American journalist, David Grimble, on his visit to the second city of the British Empire at the invitation of John Jameson. Mr. Grimble meets a series of Irish characters as he explores the largest distillery in the world following the elusive Mr. Jameson.

vStream explored the historical facts of John Jameson’s life and distillery, the unique process of distillation, the target audience and the brand values to create a script that expressed the important elements the company wished to communicate while maintaining the proper reverence for the heritage of this 250-year old whiskey. Requirements also included recreating the city of Dublin and the grandeur of the Bow Street Distillery of 1802.

Elbow Saves Christmas 5D Experience >>

The world’s first 5D Animated Christmas Grotto Experience has been developed by vStream, and was enjoyed by shoppers at the Westfield shopping centres in London as Elbow, a very special Santi elf, saves Christmas!’

Christmas shoppers visiting Santa’s Grotto had a very unique opportunity to partake in a Christmas story with a difference as they are immersed in a stereoscopic 3D visual experience which incorporates a fourth dimension of wind, lights and elf dust! Pushing the boundaries even further, the fifth dimension is the personalisation of the experience, with each child in the audience featuring in the film. Their pictures are displayed throughout the story as an integral part of the narrative, as participants watch Elbow saving Santa’s presents from the good-elf-turned-bad, Fumble.

The project delivered significant results for our client, with a 20% year on year increase in footfall for Westfield London.

As vStream specialise in integration of offline and online campaigns, a ‘follow on’ piece of marketing was developed for Westfield, which can be seen at http://www.elbowschristmaswishes.com/. Two days after a visit to the grotto, children would receive this personalised 2D video via email. Again, starring the children and the characters of the 5D Experience, this video permitted consumers to disseminate the content virally via email, facebook and twittter by creating their own personalsed video for their friends. The resultant campaign drove additional footfall into both Shopping Centres, and increased the Westfield CRM Database by 20,000 in 6 weeks.
