Jameson Augmented Reality Game

vStream Developed the world’s first Augmented Reality Sampling Event game for Jameson in 2010.

Using specially designed AR dripmats, consumers in bars were asked to pit their skills against the clock, to see if they could fulfill a virtual drinks order faster than their friends. Using cutting edge technology, Jameson broke the mold for sampling events, by bring Augmented Reality into the point of purchase to deliver an engaging experience.

The Jameson Augmented Reality Game has been rolled out across international markets and is proving a huge success.

Elbow Saves Christmas 5D Experience

The world’s first 5D Animated Christmas Grotto Experience has been developed by vStream, and was enjoyed by shoppers at the Westfield shopping centres in London as Elbow, a very special Santi elf, saves Christmas!’

Christmas shoppers visiting Santa’s Grotto had a very unique opportunity to partake in a Christmas story with a difference as they are immersed in a stereoscopic 3D visual experience which incorporates a fourth dimension of wind, lights and elf dust! Pushing the boundaries even further, the fifth dimension is the personalisation of the experience, with each child in the audience featuring in the film. Their pictures are displayed throughout the story as an integral part of the narrative, as participants watch Elbow saving Santa’s presents from the good-elf-turned-bad, Fumble.

The project delivered significant results for our client, with a 20% year on year increase in footfall for Westfield London.

As vStream specialise in integration of offline and online campaigns, a ‘follow on’ piece of marketing was developed for Westfield, which can be seen at http://www.elbowschristmaswishes.com/. Two days after a visit to the grotto, children would receive this personalised 2D video via email. Again, starring the children and the characters of the 5D Experience, this video permitted consumers to disseminate the content virally via email, facebook and twittter by creating their own personalsed video for their friends. The resultant campaign drove additional footfall into both Shopping Centres, and increased the Westfield CRM Database by 20,000 in 6 weeks.

The Aviva Stadium 3D Experience

The multi award winning Aviva Stadium 3D Experience gives sports fans across Ireland unique access to the stadium in a dramatic 3D personalised experience, housed in a travelling simulator.

A world first, vStream developed software to personalise stereoscopic 3D video, to allow the viewer to experience the build up to an international soccer or rugby match in the first person, with their name and picture being featured throughout the content.

The story centres around you, the viewer, a relatively unknown academy player, who on the day before a big international match gets a call up to the international team. The story follows your journey over the next 24 hours leading up to the match, culminating with you walking out onto the pitch to a full capacity Aviva stadium.
